How is my donation spent? |
APC aims to make every real count in the fight against hunger and food waste!
We have a skeleton staff of just three people: a general manager; a nutricionist; and a trainee administrator. Much of our work is done through volunteer and pro-bono efforts and many services we use are donated (e.g. website support). In this way we can apply the donated money directly to our primary project of collecting and transporting excess food to people who need it. We currently spend R$0.76 for every tonne of food we deliver.
APC aims for full transparency. Our annual accounts are reviewed by a qualified accountant and submitted to the Ministry of Justice as well as being published on our website. |
