The benefits of this ancient seed have led to it being considered a strong health ally, mainly for helping to control hunger and lose weight. Chia seeds are an excellent source of protein, minerals, fiber and omega 3. Experts recommend ingesting a tablespoon of the seed 30 minutes before large meals. In addition to the seed, chia can also be found in the form of oil, suitable for dressing salads, or flour, which can be added to bread recipes to make them more nutritious.
